Need help findin a tranny cooler....?

Where can a find a B&M tranny cooler. I'm going to do a VB mod in the near future. All of the local auto part stores have Hayden coolers, but i was told to get a B&M instead(16000-18500 GVW). I haven't had any luck when checking on Ebay. Thanks for the help peoples.

I had a Hayden back when my car was auto. It worked fine. Why do people recommend the B&M over the Hayden?

The main reason is no matter how large a one you get it will still work great in cold weather because of the automatic temp control which bypasses cooler when fluid is cold, then slowly opens to allow more fluid as the temp increases.

Hayden does not do this.

Explanation from B&M

B&M’s SuperCooler low pressure drop coolers reduce the risk of lube system failure. A controlled amount of automatic transmission fluid (ATF) is allowed to bypass the stacked plate core, passing through a self-regulating orifice, which monitors resistance to flow. Controlled by viscosity, the thicker ATF is returned directly to lube through two open bypass passages positioned in the stacked plate core. As operating temperatures increase, more of the ATF flow is directed through the core. The result is highly efficient cooling technology that combines improved protection against lube system failure with the required levels of optimal heat transfer. The smallest size and lightest weight cooler relative to cooling capacity you can buy! High efficiency rating allows a smaller cooler to get equal, or better cooling than ordinary in and tube coolers. The rigid design is resistant to damage from flying rocks or other debris. Pressure tested to 200 PSI. Includes installation kit (cooler lines, fitting & mounting hardware). Easy to install.

True, but if you route the transmission cooler in series with the heat exchanger in the radiator, then you can use the water temp to keep the transmission oil from getting too cold. Unless it is so cold out that the thermostat never opens up, like up in North Dakota right now.
