Rim opinions

Wheel #1 ROH Fury 19" x8" Black Ice Finish

Wheel #1 ROH Fury 19"x8" Black Ice Finish pic 2

Wheel #2 ROH MODENA 19"x7" with polished lip & Black Ice Center

Wheel #2 ROH MODENA 19" x7" with polished lip & Black Ice Center pic 2

I was going to get the Fury's because I was gonna get a great deal on them from my supplier but now I kinda like the Modena's since there three piece and custom which means two things, the unique and rare but there alot more money. I think the Polished lip and black ice center would look good on my car.

Im kinda torn, do you think its worth the extra money or should I just stick with the Fury's. Ill put some photoshopped pics of the rims on my car up later.

Modena. No question. They'd look awesome on your car. Now get them before this big meet this spring. I can't wait to see all your new body work and c/f hood in person!

Wonder what those would look like on my Sterling 2K3? Hmm...

hopefully I can get them before the meet. Im gonna be doing the engine swap early spring hopefully I can recover from that by june, which shouldnt be a problem as long as the weather is nice in the spring and I can get some good hours in, and these wheels dont take forever to come in from australia.

Im not sure about the price but im sure its close to that. I work for my father doing landscape construction. I build waterfalls, ponds, retaining walls, patios, pools, install plantings etc.. check out our site -> http://zullo-design.com

and I also do my installs and detailing on the side, and website design.

I have only 1 question, have any of you guys seen either of these rims on a car? I have & let me tell you that the Furys are damn impressive rolling on an Holden Mondeo down here. Have seen the Mondenas too, but I would prefer the Furys

Why only ROH?
1) quality- ROH wheels are very strong, and the finish is always flaw-less
2) style- I like the style that most ROH wheels have, its classy and not over-done
3) They are unique- not too many people have them
4) Price, I have an account and I know my supplier pretty well so when it comes to wheels for my car I get a pretty good deal

James- I dont really no how much they weigh, but I also dont really care. Im going more for show now.
EdzMax- yes I have also seen them in person and they look great.
maxmizd27- just swapping in a jdm ve with low miles (30-40k) to replace the high mileage one Ive got in here now.

Jason,

I need a quote on the Furys in 17 chrome and 19 black ice.

I have already talked to the Alex at SWAW and he gave me a quote. Hopefully you can match it or beat it one.

Jason, please remember to send me a quote tomorrow.

Oh yeah, btw, i was going through some old threads on 19s, and someone said you put 19s on, and they were warped after riding just a little while. What's all that about?

My bad, Jason. It was actually Nevin who did it. See last post in this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....&highlight=19s

Do 19 inch rims have a higher chance of warping? The tires are already expensive as crap. IT would suck to have to constantly be replacing tires and occasionally a rim or two. Screw that.

ROH wheels are manufactured in Australia and the roads there aren't to great so the wheels are made very strong, its true with bigger rims you have less tire but the wheels are still strong. As long as you dont go pounding through pot holes and stuff, but even then I doubt it because Ive hit some pretty bad ones and mine are fine and my freind has 20's and I was with him when he went over a bad pothole and we both thought the rims would be dented but they were fine, Ive sold 22" and 24" wheels to freinds and there also fine. I guess some cheap 19"s may bend but these wheels will be fine.

I am pretty sure I am going to order the Furys this weekend. I still have to get someone to install my struts and springs. I have had them sitting in my garage for 3 months now. What is a good price as far as installation is concerned?

Thanks.

Anybody know of a good price for installation of springs and struts? Everywhere around here wants in excess of $350 for installation and a 4 wheel alignment.

I can get them for you at around $3500 with tires

they are custom wheels, when I have mine made Im going to play with the off-set in the rear so the rear rims will have a wider lip than the front. btw the rims take 4-6 weeks to make and then have to be shipped from AU
