I'd like to find the guy.....(part II)

at Nissan who put the starter motor at the front of the engine and on the bottom and thank him profusely. I had to change the starter motor today, and it was easy to get to - much easier than changing the damn oil filter (which has to be done much more often - go figure). Obviously, the guy who placed the oil filter and the guy who placed the starter motor were very different people.

Yeah, they guy that got to choose the oil filter spot also chose the location for the slave clutch cylinder, power steering pump, steering rack, and of course, probably designed the AIV gear too. :P
