flasher location 1985

The turn signals and 4 way flashers recently quit working on my 85. I suspect the flasher and have been trying to replace it, but for the life of me I can't locate it! Usually it is under the dash on the drivers side. Any help that can be provided would be appreciated.

Thanks,
MarkNYNY

You should be able to find it located near the steering column under the center kick panel. Also, if you haven't already checked, make sure the fuse isn't blown.

Thanks for the info. Found the flasher, replaced but no joy. I checked the fuses for hazards and turn signals in the fuse block and they were OK. Lokking at the Wiring diagram for the car it appears their is a dedicated fuse for the flasher unit. Any idea where this may be located?

Thanks

Check in the engine compartment next to the intake air duct. There are some fusible links there that could of gone bad...though I'm not 100% sure. Also check along the spine of the positive battery cable as it has a bunce of other wires running from it.
