New 03 SE: break-in = 30 hours

Picked it up Friday at 5 from Beaverton Nissan (OR). Gave me nice deal on 03 SE, 6 speed, Bose, Titanium, roof deflector +mudguards: $4200 under MSRP. It pleasant to deal with them; got deal done very quickly and very helpful. Drove to Huntington Beach, CA in 30 hours; about 1100 miles. First 4 hours I couls hardly see the road from rainstorm. Had snow on Sisquiyou pass and Shasta. Stopped in Santa Cruz on my way down south..... Pretty wild downtown; lots of hippies and nice looking chicks.
Car is great. here are my impressions.
1. I love my white glacier colour and Titanium touches
2. Engine has nice purr; may hesitate a tiny bit under certain load but no big deal
3. Very quiet overall!
4. Very secure handling
5. Gas mileage OK: getting 26-27 mpg. Hope to do better later
6. I am glad I got the 03 over the 04 because the 03 is faster and same turning radius.
7. 03 is not built any more and almost no 6 speed in CA

"Congrats and welcome to the Org."...Remember the SEARCH FUNCTION is your friend. Don't be scared to use it. The stickies on top are helpful also.

Traction was very good on hard rain. Snow was melting on the ground.
Overall was satisfied with Potenzas. My gas mileage was very good.
I thought though hesitation bit was licked by now

the worst is when its slippery either before or after a hard rain. then you'll post about how you hate the craptenzas.

Is the Stillen a good choice? I think the hesitation thing is a ECU matter. My friend's 2002 does not have it but the throttle seems to operate differently. After he releases the clutch the RPM takes a sec to drop.
