Help with Avital alarm system

it's installed...my problem is that all of a sudden a few days ago when you arm the system, my power locks won't lock. found out when i caught my neigbor's kid playing hide and seek in my car....

was working fine for months until now. anyone know how to reset the alarm itself? installer didn't give me the installation guide back..its an avital model 3300 with remote start. all the other functions work fine..even the unlock when you lock your doors manually with a key.

thanks
Julius

A "resetting" of the alarm wouldnt solve the problem, it lies somewhere within the wiring. Check all the connections for the door locks, especially in the door itself.

err....i figured enough...serves me right for trying to save some time and not installing it myself...i just hate having to take my door panels off if there isn't something obviously loose or disconnected from under the dash. thanks Don

If ya wanna take the short cut, use a test light at the door lock wires at the brain, then at the door jamb. If they are locking that way, then it is obviously connected,if not the unfortunately work your way into the door.

Let me know if ya need any help.
