Anyone ever hear a noise that sounds like a flap opening and closing when you close the rear drivers side door? Sounds like its coming from the rear quarter panel/bumper area.

Haunted Door?

Open the door and move it back and forth (hard if possible) and see if you still hear the noise. If you do something is probably loose inside the door. If not then try hitting with your hand the area where the door closes and see if you hear it. Could be coming from the trunk. No luck with any of this stuff, call Ghostbusters!

I have also heard this sound and it is not something from inside the door. I believe it is the air recircualtion flap located in the rtunk area, I would assume it is the change in pressure which causes this to open or close with the closure of the rear doors.

Hope this helps,
Jeff

My thoughts exactly watson...

I've heard it too.. I think it is the change in pressure also. Don't know where the hell the flap is though.. if that's what you wanna call it. My friend and I discovered this.. it's as if it comes out the "trunk area"
