I was at the stillin web site and they had an air filter for like 180 and at auto zone they have air filters for 19.99. Im just wondering whats the difference. Is the 19.99 good for now untill I save up to buy a stillin. I really dont know

big difference the stiilen is a high performance cotton mesh that truly gives u like 2-3 horsepower also it is custom fitted to our Maf. the ones at autozone are just colored paper cones that do almost the same thing as stock filters.

either buy the one form autozone and cut up your air box and use the adapter from that or go on ebay and buy a cone filter with the adapter already for about the same price.

Then save up to buy a CAI (cold air intake) from warpspeed for $150 instead of the $180 cone filter from Stillen. The CAI looks better and gives you more of a gain since it moves the filter out of the engine bay.

if you search on here you will find pictures of the CAI and also recomendations.

good luck

The only good thing about the Stillen intake is that it uses a K&N filter and the adapter to the MAF sensor is real good, but $180 is a bit much. Before spending that much money get a CAI, it will give you better gains.

Also the Stillen intake is CARB exempt if you live in California.

I continue to be utterly dismayed that anyone pays close to $200 for a cone filter and a 2 dollar adapter plate. I wouldnt even pay $100 for a filter and adapter plate

And geez for like....2hp (I'd be surprised if it even actually put that down )

FYI I have WSP CAI with Autozone APC filter and proud to be Stealin free (err well aside from my flywheel and rotors).
