early Z31 wheels on a 2nd gen Max?

Well, I found a picture of someone having done it. There is no mention of whether or not any spacers or adapters were needed, but with the different offset of RWD wheels over FWD, I doubt there are any spacers...look at the link...

Not I, I would rather see that on a 300ZX instead.

Well, I guess I'll be the one who's in the minority on this one, but I actually think they look halfway decent. Granted, aftermarket wheels would look better, but those Z wheels are much better than the ugly a$$ stock Maxima wheels.

Yeah, and they look easier to clean then the 85-86 rims. And no matter what you all may think, the 85-86 rims are the worst to clean compared to the 87-88 rims. So many damn patterns in the wheel you have to spend an hour on a wheel sometimes to get them clean enough.

I agree with -C-. The wheels, in my opinion, don't look too bad. Aftermarket would look better, for sure, but when you can buy a set of Z31 wheels, with almost new tires, for less than the cost of tires alone...which would you choose, when on a very tight budget?

If those fit, then you have options of using pretty much any older Z-car wheel granted it is 6 inch width. Wider rims may start to stick out too much. I think the 1982-83 280zx turbo wheels aren't too bad looking for a cheap "custom" wheel. 15x6 4 on 4.5 bolt pattern.

I would rather have the 98-99 Altima 16" 6 spokes on my car. But they would be easier to clean.
