Which oil do you guys use? MT-90 or MTL? Which one is better and where is the cheapest place to buy them?

If you insist on Redline, the MT-90 is the better choice. It's a 75W-90 fluid that more closely matches the transmissions requirements. The MTL is a lighter weight variant of it and should only be used in a Maxima in very cold temperatures. They should cost the same.

There are other alternatives you know

4.5-5 quarts depending on how well you drain it.

I used MT-90 in my Maxima, but in my SE-R I used Redline Shockproof super lightweight.

I realize that they are not identical cars by any means, but the improvement in shift quality was MUCH more noticeable in my SE-R. Plus, cold weather shifting is easier with the Shockproof. They cost about the same too. Just something to think about.
