need quick help, what do you all think?

ok guys, it has been awhile since i posted here but here it goes. yesterday i decided to clean the air filter on my pop charger. after i was done i put it back on, and started my car. it was idleing really bad. it would rev itself for about 30 seconds, then it would die. it would also die when i put it in gear and tried to move it. so i said screw it, and took my mom's car when i went out last night.
this morning, i got up and went to see if i could figure out what was wrong with it. i started it up and it ran completely fine!! put it in gear, fine. drove it around the block, fine!!
i am guessing that i got some air in there while i had the intake off? it should be fine now, right? what do you guys think?

from previous posts i've read...oil has gotten into the air flow sensor and screwed it up. but once the oil settled..it was fine. dont put a lot of oil on it next time. only enough to see it change from white to light pinkish

so it should be fine then?

no long term problems from this?

i didn't drive it to work today, but when i got home this evening, i started it and once again, it was fine. i am going to start driving it again tomorrow, and hopefully it will be ok.

yeah, that's a common problem after cleaning the filter.. best thing to do is start up the car and drive it around the block a few times to make sure everything is fine before you head off to somewhere that you don't have time to swap cars if it won't start.

hey guys, sorry for taking so long to respond but we had a major ice storm here and my power went out late saturday night/early sunday morning and i just got it back a few hours ago.

the car has been running fine since sunday. i had no idea that this happened after cleaning the filter, guess i should have researched this more. thank you for the advice. i was really scared that something was wrong with my fuel line or something. glad it was nothing. i really needed the car too, since i was only able to comminicate through my cell phone and i had to charge it with my car!

well, i am gonna go try to warm up since i finally have heat! thanks again for the help!!
