Car was sitting in neutral w/ e-brake on over night since about 12am(completely by accidnet) so its about 6pm and I go out and click the remote start, no start up since the car is in N, so no prob, next I start it up maually and at idle the rpms sit at about 1300 and the speedo is steadily looming around 10-15 mph and get this the "P" light blinks 16 or so times(any specific codes for that???), WTF??? so I let it sit for an hour until I get back from getting my mom from work(using my Dad's car of course), I get back and turn on the car, same prob.....hmmm, pop the hood and listen to the engine, sounds fine, rev it a little and there is still the low end backfire(which I'm thinking is my fuel injectors needing a flush or bad 02) anyways I put it in D and drive it up and down the block once, come back and put it in P, and what do you know everything is back to normal, I turn it off and back on, and the "P" light doesn't flash once!!!! WTF??? can someone tell me how to run the "self diagnostic, never done it before, and don't have anything to do tommorow!! Thanks for reading this long a$$ post!!

well now that I've started to use the e-brake when I park the car, I guess forgot and thought I had put it in Park(P). but, I'm gonna doulble check always now, but eveything is working in order now, so I'm happy!! thanks for the reply!
