headlights

headlights

ok, flame away but i cant get the headlights open to replace the bulb. i dont want to start taking it apart or anything util i know what im doing, any help would be good

mine were fairly easy to replace. twist the circular top (like a medicine bottle) off...PUSH as you turn. Once you get that off, pull the bulb out carefully. MAKE SURE NOT TO TOUCH THE LENSE OF THE NEW BUBLS!!!!!!

yea twist to unlock it and the bulb and wiring will come out. again...try not to touch the bulbs cuz the oil from your fingers will shorten the life of the bulb. good luck

ok complications arose. was turing those black crank looking things, and the sprockets they are connected to er broke hopefully i didnt damage too much. am i turning the right thing they didnt seem like they wanted to budge anyway

don't turn those sprokets!!! those are to adjust the light level....what are you trying to do exactly??

Do you have an owners manual? It has a very good diagram in that? It's actually really not all that hard to replace a headlight bulb on our car? I've replaced so many damn blue ricey bulbs that I'm a pro at replacing them!! lol So, I just switched to Sylvania Silverstars!

BTW: I love my Silverstars!!

owners manual didnt even think of of that, i bought some super white light thing from advanced auto, sylvania is the make i believe

yah dug the owners manual up, still had the original sticker price tag in it hehehe. changing those bulbs was so easy, i feel like a tard thanks for not flammin though
