minus spare tire, but everything else there.

I am thinking

flywheel, udp, 2.5inch catback exhaust + y pipe + hi flow cat + mevi + 17 inch superleggeras (15 lbs a pop) .

How about those JWT cams , do they actually work? Or is there a place that does engine builds on VQ's?

Thanks waht do you guys think?

no. you need a 5-spd with all bolt-on's including ECU and MEVI plus ALOT of practice driving. .org member "nealoc" is the only 4th gen in the 13's on all motor. or you could just go with boost or nitrous...

boost. if you're a 5psd, a 50 shot will work. automatic and you probably want a 100 shot with good tires

Yeah, i have already done research with turbos and talked with Hal a lot, just checking what i could do with a NA setup. Guess turbo is a good idea.

BTW Romeo, my other cars i am looking at besides doing a turbo max are either a WRX + vishnu stage 1 kit, or an S14 with RB25det lol

a short ram or cold air intake would probably help....
as well as drag slicks
and 5spd is a must

yes? huh? a vb mod and a 100 shot would likely get him in the 13's...

Actually you can do that with a 50 shot and no VB mod. I did a 13.8 with a 50 shot.

17" wheels aren't going to help things at all. Even though they are quite light, I'm willing to bet you run slower on them than on stock wheels.

You will need all that you listed and either ECU or slicks to hit 13s. With both it would be easy assuming you can drive.

you've had alot more experience than me, plus the evidence to prove it, so i don't doubt it. i know someone locally who had a 50 shot and didn't get into the 13's, barely 14's, even, so that's why i said what i did.

Neal what size rims do you have? Or should i say what size did you have on when you ran the 13.9. Also what brand Y-pipe are you using? Just curious...

Stock steelies are 15x6.5. They are mazda millenia wheels. Stock steelies are heavy, I don't do heavy.

Cool thanks. Do you think that rim size is really important? I mean i know that if you put 18's on you are going to be slower than if you had 15's on. But for example do you think that going from 15" SE sawblades to 16" SE 5 spokes would effect you 1/4 time by much?

Note to anyone upgrading to aftermarket 17's or 18's. Keep your stock wheels!!!!!! You will want them for the track. Don't be like me and sell your stock 14lb wheels without thinking and be stuck with only your 20+lb 17's.
