I was gonna try and buy one but now I'm a little scared after reading about the fitting problems. Can someone please clear the air on this? Is it just on the 97-99's or on all 4th gen? If the problem is minor how much do u think the shop would charge for modding or should i just go wit something else?

 

A friend of mine put a type II wing on his 1996 and it fit perfect without any modification needed. I personally don't like the way it looks, but if you do, i'd say go for it man. You won't have any problems.

 

I installed one myself on my 95. The wing needed lots of prepping before i could get it painted. It didnt fit well. The wing itself was curved too much meaning the outer ends hit the trunk before the center. Also the bolt holes were about 1/8" off, and the LED doesnt fit too well. From what everyone says you cant get one anymore anyways...
