your opinion on my suspension

i currently have maxspeed with agx setup. i installed it last fall and i was happy with it and i still am happy with my ride. but i kinda want little more drop than maxspeed. ride is nice and firm but amount of drop isn't too great. you think i should just reaplce my springs? or just keep the one i have. and i also have still body kit and live in chicago where winter gets really bad. so let me know what you think. and which spring if i decide to switch...

thanks,
Tae

I have eibachs and I love them. I'm not sure how much more of a drop they give though. You may want to go to sprints. I don't have pics of my car with the eibachs in yet, so please don't go by my homepage pics.

I've never had maxspeeds or sprints, but from reading past posts on springs i tell you what others have said. I heard that maxspeeds are basically the same as H&Rs, which give a fairly stock ride. Sprints and Eibachs are known to be more harsh. Basically, they take the bumps harder...like a sports car would

I can't believe I'm the only one replying! Anyway, I'm very happy with my eibachs. It's a hard ride, but I like it. They handle corners good too. I heard KYB actually suggests the Eibachs with the AGX struts. If you'd like, I'll try to take a pic or two tomorrow and post it up.

i have progress 1.7" drop. and i notice with 45 profile 17" tires on i have more than a 3 finger gap in the rear. but you know, i dont really care now. how much is the maxspeed? i cant remember..

suspension is not something i want to change more than once or twice. ugh, next car i get will have reduced gap from the factory.

sounds like you want sprints. or go for some coilovers

I have Eibachs as well, but they are with the Tokiko shocks/struts. I like my setup. Can get about 3 fingers in the gap front, more towards 2 in the back, but then again, I have a box in the trunk I like the setup very much

i have eibach springs /tokico struts . little hard ride but tight. 3 finger gap also runs on 40/235 18"

eibach states its 1.5" drop but its more like a 1.6" eibach rates a little conservative on there drops. but if u want slammed then get sprints or intrax. they are like a finger and half gap. but will need camber kit w/springs.
