New Shiftknob pics...

Ichibahn Cruz Auto. It's not a straight bolt on (you have to cut the white part of the stock shifter with a hacksaw - not a biggie at all), there is no overdrive button, but it can be installed in about an hour. It is real leather and aluminium, and comes in 5 different colors. Oh and tomorrow I'm picking up an OEM shiftboot and eBrake boot from the dealer, can anybody tell me which year was real leather? (I think it is 98+ SE and GLEs).

New overdrive switch:

Leather and aluminum? Hecks yeah! I wouldn't need a OD switch though. Only problem with it? It is for a 4th or 5th gen....and I got a 2nd!

I'll catch up one day........

Hey, that looks trick. I don't say that often because I'm 40, but you tricked me. I thought it was a manual tranny, and, WTF the big deal was, and why you sawed off shifter intead of buying a **** that fit right without having to saw anything off. What a dummy.

THEN, I realized it was an auto tranny shifter with a boot covering the gear indicator. That should slow a car thief down more than a club. If he goes for 1st, he'll hit park. He have a hard time shifting over and then back into reverse too. If he does, he'll go the wrong way. Be careful where you park!

sorry Cyrus,
not feelin it

Personally i'd leave the shiftboot for automatic BMWs or manual transmissions.

the **** looks out of place too.

A nice black and chrome Levoc ****, with a cut shiftrod would do it for me.

but your car, do what you want dude

I respect your honesty. I just hate the Levocs because they look like giant joysticks, and IMO stick out too much.
