You think it's bad on long Island, go the street of brooklyn or queens. I haven't put any rims on my car because of the weather, but my cousin also has a max with 19's and he's already bent 1 of the rims. Potholes are a b!tch!

As far as rim size goes the bigger the rim the shorter the sidewall of the tire (if you are concerned with keeping the stock ratio for speedo accuracy). The shorter the sidewall the less the tire absorbs shocks and therefore the more shock your suspension (including rims) will absorb. As with any mod there are certain tradeoffs, GL and just pretend you're playing frogger when you drive dodging all those potholes.

Try living in North California! Running into and over animals and people that move here from So Cal is really hard on the car!

I've heard about those huge potholes in NY. The sewer repair guys use them for short cuts.
But they eventually get filled in with Yugo's and 1970 era Civics .

well, you guys are also like 20 inches under what you normally get as far as snow. We're up to 77+ for the season, and every week it warms up for two days, then snows another half an inch.

hey, just think of them as bonus points, 5 points for small holes, 10 points for big ones, put on your stock rims and start racking up the points
