Carbon Fiber Hood

Well my dad is a dumbass and drove my Maxima into the snow blower and tore a huge piece of paint off the hood. What do you guys suggest i do to fix it. Buy a new hood and paint it, repaint the old hood, or are there any carbon fiber hoods available? And if there are, do you think they would look good on a ruby pearl (maroon) Maxima?

if you plan on modding your max out, buy a CF hood. fiber images has them available. if you car is stock or looks stock, don't get the CF hood. it'll look nasty

The FiberImages hood was $760 shipped a year ago, I got mine for $600 in a group buy... show me where to find a Maxima CF hood for $200, or even just $400.

I think he meant to repaint the hood will cost less than getting the CF hood, Maybe $200 for painting it. He probably did go a little low on the price for a CF hood at $400 though.

Clear hoods are acrylic, which are for show only and wouldn't do well with the heat of the engine.

Is this what you hope? or what you know for sure? They usually take forever to get products on the market...
