I have heard that wiring the High/Low beam simultaneously could possibly cause the bulb to burst. Any thoughts on this. I already saved your instructions on how to do this using the relay,s and such. I,m hoping that the bulbs can handle it cause I intend on doing this. TYIA

Doesn't happen

I have PIAA Superwhite Platinum 85/110w light bulbs and the way my alarm is set up I can turn on the headlights with my remote. So when I need some extra light I can turn on my low beams along with my high beams and fog's. I've done it in the past where they've been on for quite some time. I haven't noticed anything bad happen. Hope this helps. I don't really know about the cheaper bulbs though.

Thanks for your input. By the way where do you get these bulbs and for about how much?

I got them from Palm Beach Motoring out of Florida. I don't remember the website right off hand though. They were really helpful. I think they were about $60 or so for the pair. I'm not all that positive. Good luck on your search!

ok, I am a little confused...

do you have to buy 2 seperate pairs of bulbs, one for high beams and one for low beams? I know 9004's, but are those just the low beams I have been told.... ? this sounds a little wierd to me, but I have no clue when it comes to lights.

The 9004 Has two filaments in it. When the High's are on the Low's turn off. So what this is about is keeping the Low's on while the High's are on.
