Choosing the right condensor

Hey guys/...gals! Another newbie here. I have a 1995 GLE 5sp (manu. date 11/94). I just received a reman PAG pre-oiled Calsonic ac compressor and drier w/ o-ring kit off ebay from quality parts warehouse for $189 and waiting on man guage set and vacuum pump. I am going to get a new condensor and wanted to make sure I'm getting the correct one for my vehicle. I don't think there's any charge left in the system but will be taking it to a shop for evacuation if there is. Is there anything I need to take into consideration when ordering the correct condensor and can I not check for charge by depressing one of the low/high valve stems and listening for release? Thanks in advance for the advice.
