I have a 93' Maxima it has the 9 hole rims, when I bought it it was missing one of the center caps (the disc that says Nissan and covers the lugs) so I purchased a cap for it (stated it was for 89-90 but I figured they were all the same for 9 hole) when I got home and put it on it appears the new cap does not match my three other caps , the new cap has a kind of grey finish while my other three are almost mirror finish.

Are these things clear coated? I am thinking my originals are stripped of the clear while the new one still has it. Or are the years really different and do I have to get a 93' cap?

 

it's probably the same...the other 3 just have wear and tear so the difference is obvious

 

89-90 rims had the dull finish
91-94 rims had the silver finish
