Will the 00-01 taillights (dark smoked from the 20th anniversary) fit on the 02-03 maximas?

Look at them side by side- they are totally different shapes. There is no way, unless you plan on some extensive body work.

 

Well, the 00 taillights will fit the 02-03, because they are all 5th gen. 4th gen maximas were from 95-99

Sweet, I love those tails.. All dark and shadowy.. I was going to say if they didn't, I'll just smoke the 02-03 tails to look that dark..

They should fit fine, being that the 00-01 maximas are 5th gen like the 02-03's

 

do you have a source for them? I'm looking for some as well, but I'm not willing to fork over the cash for new stuff. Used work/looks just the same.

 

I've got a 2000 Sterling Mist SE with the dark smoked taillights. I'd love to swap them with the clear tails if someone in the NY or NJ area is interested (I'm in Northern NJ).

Since I can't be without the car for any length of time, it would have to be a meet - I don't want to have to deal with shipping them back and forth.

and before anyone jumps on me to "post this in the For Sale forum" I already did. I was just seeing if maxcosity has a source for the one's he's getting and if s/he has more.

 

If it comes to that, I'll let you know. I've spent a fortune since the holidays on mods that have yet to be installed, so I don't see myself doing it anytime soon, though.

I just wish this freakin winter would end.

no source.. although I haven't even begun to look.. I'm thinking any of the local junkyards might have a set.. *shrug*

If not, perhaps buy them off a nissan parts dealer -- there's not much use for them to keep them now a days so I'm sure they'd sell their inventory for cheap..
