Clear Corners quick questions.

I recently purchased and installed the clear corners from CustomMaxima. I was wondering, for those who have these, do you have to use the Bulb Socket that comes with the front lenses? I didn't use them because I found that trying to take out the stock on, was harder then taking out the lenses themselves. Thanks. BTW, is ok that the new bulbs are 5W instead of 3.8....

Whichever one will provide you a tighter seal then use it. As for the bulbs 5w is fine... You may also want to seal the edges of the lense with some silicone sealer. Otherwise you will get condensation build up overtime..

I left the whole original setup in there and just replaced the plastic 'surround' so I still have the stock bulb and socket in there... been that way for a few months and everything is fine.

Don't know about 5w v 3.8w though.

I'll probably be installing my front clears this weekend. What's the best way to pop out the OEM ones. If anyone can provide a quick write up on this I'd appreciate it.

Nissan already did a write up for you on how to take out your side markers.

its in your owners manual. Best way is to follow it. also use a cloth that wont rip under the pressure. The back one's, aim more in teh middle, and the pressure of the screwdriver shuld pop it out. The front ones you need to push to teh side.

Expect to make some tiny scratches on the inside. But who cares. Thats why it is good to use good bulbs.
