Fogged Up Windows
Fogged Up Windows
As soon as my warranty expired, I started encountering this problem.. heh. Fortunately its the only problem I've had with my Max, and its more of a nuisance then a real "problem".
This is obviously a winter problem but it didn't happen before, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't happen to other people...
I get in the car, drive 2 blocks away.. get out of the car.. come back 15 mins and the rear window is fogged/iced up, and the side rear windows are getting there too. Fine, I get in the car, drive some place else, defog/ice everything.. get out, come back 10 mins later, stuff's fogged up again.
Anyone had this problem? What's going on? I know scientifically what could/should be causing the problem (lol) but I don't know what would be broken to cause it, so I'm looking for advice from you, the maxima god people!

Fog on windows is the result of water vapors in the air hitting the colder window, which turns it back to water.
Find the souce of the water, dry it, and no fog.
I sometimes get foggy windows after skiing b/c all the snow for gear melts into the trunk liner. I take out the liner on a sunny day and let it dry.
I would look at your trunk... see if the liner is wet. Then floor mats and carpet.
Also, don't use your recycle button on your heater when there is any mosture in your car... this re-circulates the moist air vs. allowing dryer air in.
