Just to let you know Carsound and Warpspeed performance both make cats for maxima's. They are both cheaper than the RT also at around $100. I am sure you will get some replys from people who own/have owned the RT cat if you wait a little while. Why do you want a cat anyway? they give barly any gains.

I have had mine for 2 years now. The cover for it has like 4 welds
and one of the welds broke a was making a rattle noise, but I took
the cover off and no problem since then.
They have my vote.

Yup it sucks. Overpriced and basically a POS. Shelled out on me in 3 weeks.

the ceramic waffle (aka a filter) inside the cat comes loose and begins to rattle at certain rpms.. and then rattles all the time...

I had a problem with those 4 spot welds too but took off the little shield and all better. Then the RT failed me after 17K miles causing lots of emission headaches. RT swapped it under warranty for just shipping. Another 18K on it right now and all is well. Dyno coming with 60 days of RT vs gutted OEM cat...
