You could probably use Goo Gone? But, I'm not sure if that'd work or not? I haven't taken my trim off? I think your supposed to just scrape it off? But, don't mark me on my word, I'm just taking that off of the top of my head? I'm not totally sure if that'd work, but, give it a try and see what happens? Good luck!

Some people say go to a body shop and have them buff it off since it will be real fast. Other people use goo-gone but it takes hours I heard.

Unfortnatly we no longer have use of the search feature however someone had mentioned that Home Depot had a product thatis supposed to remove that stuff easier than the go gone. Of course I did not write down the name but check them out. I am about to start the project myself. Ill let you know what i end up using.

use a high speed buffer or, heat gun w/ goof off (not too much)

use a credit card to scrape it or your finger nail

i used a credit card to get most of it off, but it still has a little bit of goo, and its still very noticable...

alcohol is better than goo gone, but still sux...go 2 home depot and look around at the paint and sticky crap removing stuff they have...i bought a spray there (forgot what its called) but basically its one step down from totally eating the paint. also as mentioned go 2 a paint shop...guy thats doin my car has a rubber wheel that attaches 2 a drill and the stuff just comes off...he said b/f that he would rub it off w/ his fingers...ouch! (u should see this guy's hands...each finger was like 3 of mine)

are you removing that black weather strip thing?
if so what are you putting backon there as a replacement?

Ill be weary about those harsh chemicals, I guess just make sure you neutralize the surface before you go on

Ok, I did this a couple of weeks ago and it look alot better without the trim IMO. But my paint is kinda peeling in the area were I took off the stripping, just on my back passenger tire. Any recomendations. Oh, and I did mine with my fingers.
