This hads been going on since I installed the SC....Just never bothered to ask before.

I have one of the older Blitz Supersound BOV's.

WHen letting off the gas at high RPM, or shifting, it doesn't go "pssssssht" like I thought it should.

It makes a loud fast fluttering noise....PhttbbblaaaPPhhhhabblllaaaaa

This normal?

 

how is that noise again?


you have a cat stuck in the drive belt?

do you have a sound clip?

It sounds like air fluttering through a valve.....

 

well i am not exactly sure what yours sounds like but generally with the blitz, it's not that loud of a PSSSHHH... so i got the HKS welded on with the universal flange and now it's LOUD! with a high whistle pssshhh sound at full boost.... i love it...

 

Yea, that's normal. At high rpms when I rev it in neutral, mine sounds like fluttering, though since I'm auto I don't hear anything when its in drive. I assume it doen't sound like that when you shift or rev at around 3-4K rpms right?

Well for turbo cars that i've heard with the Blitz, its a fairly quiet bov compared to the high pitched squeal of the Greddy.

i've had both on my SC, and the blitz was really weak. its fluttered. more of a Shooooootttttttatatatatat

than as PffffssssstttttttttttttttttTTTTTTT





for my next trick, i can play mary had a little lamb with my armpit.

 

My Blitz Dual Drive BOV is like that too. Sounds very flatulent!
