Looks nice. Nice job painting the intake manifold and valve cover. You need to upgrade to a CAI asap...that little hai filter is waaaay too small to handle any decent amount of boost.

Thanks guys. I painted the intake mainfold and valve cover this past summer. I was doing a brake job and painting the calipers, so I took the VC and IM off and painted them too.

A CAI is my next project. Once it warms up.

It's been mid 80's and humid here in Florida for the most part.

Snow in the forcast this week for Buffalo. Last week it hit 70 a few times. Cold or warm, just wish mother nature would make up her mind!

Is your BOV screw too loose? Looks like it might be.

I don't think so...

The BOV doesn't open until I rev close to 3k RPM. I haven't played with it at all, so I don't know where it is. It drove well after I hooked it up, so I left it.

What's considered an "optimal" setting?

You can't really tell if it's leaking until you stand next to it on the dyno. You will hear/see/feel the BOV leak after you reach a certain PSI.

"Optimal" is definitely lower than that. I would go 1-2 more full turns with the pulley size you have... definitely a lot more turns if the pulley was smaller.

Well, I reach the full 6psi that I should be getting...wouldn't that imply that its not leaking?

What could happen if I tightened it too much?

If it's tightened too much, the BOV will not open up. You'll know when that happens since you can't miss the PPPPPPPPPPSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH when it does open.

I hit was able to 11 psi on the road, but couldn't get the same on the dyno until the screw was adjusted. You'll know when you dyno.
