Many people including me go thru SX7R (Thomas) because he ...

1. Has the best price going...saved me over $40 off what another speed shop was gonna take me for...not including adapter

2. Sends the adapter for the fuel rail and everything you need to install...but you have to ask for adapter kit

He is extremely easy to work with and delivers quick.

I've been running 42 psi at idle and about 50 at WOT (before SC install) ever since I installed the Walbro 255 lph fuel pump back in January. I don't see why it is a problem. The car runs great, idles great, and I still get 26 mpg, combined city and highway miles with an occasional boosted run. I almost bought a SARD fpr back in February, but I didn't, and now I'm thinking I might not at all.

26mpg that's good! After the fuel pump was fixed, I am only getting 18-19 mpg and 20 mpg is the best I've ever got. I boost daily on freeway and I still have an untuned A/F curve. (under 10 after 4000 at WOT)

how often do you boost? your boost run means that you take her up all the way, eh? do you consider that kicking it to 4000 - 4500 to pass a car as boosting?

man...I should be easy on the pedal.

ehh... here you go.. check this site out, it's for wrx's so i'm not sure about it fitting the maxima.

http://www.worldoneperformance.com/

wait for the bottom portion to load, choose your vehicle as wrx, select the engine section, "sard" section, and then see what the price is ($229.95)

I think my secret, along with a well-tuned engine, is that I absolutely baby the car when I'm not boosting, in an effort to prolong supercharger and engine life. My blower already had over 60,000 miles on it when I bought it, and I want to put off a rebuild for as long as possible. So it's going to be synthetic oil changed religiously every 3000 miles and an easy foot on the pedal (whenever it's not pedal-to-the-metal time). But I still have fun on a daily basis.

thx

agreed....I used to have rules about boosting. I tried to boost only 2 times a day and never launch from a dead stop(auto tranny). I told myself that I am only going to see the needle on the boost gauge go above 5psi two times a day.

But I am not that careful now.....always hugry for power, always thinks the car is not fast enough. I think it was a bad idea to put a 2.87 into my car and turn me into a boost-addict. and more psi can be gained from the BOV.....

about the synthetic oil....I did oil report on mobil 1 synthetic on 3000 miles. seems the TBN is still pretty strong, 12. I plan to take this oil a bit futher...probably 4500 miles.

Bill's oil report has a lot of high milage synthetic oil analyzed.

Kevin:smash
I would've went straight down to 2.87 if I knew the car could handle it.
