Consumer Reports gives Maxima a big red circle for reliability, a half-red circle for satisfaction, and an empty circle for depreciation. I guess there's no way for Nissan to change the depreciation situation because that has to do with demand after the car is sold. Just like having a nice house in a mediocre neighborhood, you can't just tell people they should pay more, the market drives the price.
It's a joke when you look at Honda and Toyota in Consumer Reports, you almost get the feeling Toyota owns the magazine!!!
All kidding aside, it's my money and yours. We're free to spend it as we choose, but next time I'm gonna consider depreciation. nothing like having fun in a car 2-3 years and having the value NOT go down!
