i have question my maxima 94 GXE LUXURY 103,000 mileages i went to my mechincal it is perfect. When I drove location city is fine smooth but highway about 60 to 70mph some time tick like muffler knock it was fine muffler. i hate to bother it. how help me mechicial dont know it i waste time them.

My english is not easy I am Deaf. I try better english. I know i want problem my car noise back muffler i dont know why.

 

not tryign to be funny or anything.. but your saying your deaf and you hear a ticking in the back of the maxima..?

 

When i drove about 65 to 70MPH noise back muffler like shake. I went to Mechinal it checked NOthing problem. TIRES IS GOOD CONDITION. BOOT CV IS FINE and AXLES IS FINE perfect.. BACK TIRES IS FINE. I had torn muffer coat two part remove cut skin coat. it fine not loose.. same problem shake like hammer. I upset.. they dont believe.. I do ? solve?

 

If it's shaking, I would look for a bent rim, bad tire, or one wheel out of balance.

it would have to be something with exhaust/tires/wheels/axles?/tranny?

 

I dont know why it would just be in higher speeds, buy check you exaust manifold studs. Its a frequent problem....had to change mine!

 

my thoughs also, not to be rude, but how can you hear the tick tick, noise if you are deaf

check alignment, shocks and tire balance. when you've done all that and it still does it we'll think of something else? okay? I doubt it's anything major....
