Bose cd/cass combo upgrade question?

I would like to upgrade my Bose cassette radio to an Bose cd/cass combo. Anyone know if any of the later Bose cd/cass radios will work on 1992 Maxima SE. They had the Bose cd/cass in 93-94 would they work? What is model number? Anyone have any info?

Thanks!
Joe

Yes later models will work. models up to 94 will go right in but after 94 you will need a different harness. I made my own but you can buy them already made.

Hey thanks for the reply! I had seen your post early on repairing the amps on the Bose, anyway you can direct me where to find the capacitors to repair my speakers. I have try radio shack they seem not to have them and no one knows how to bet them. Let me know if you can help.
Thanks again!

If you have an actual elecronics supply store (not a radio shack) then thats the best place to go because you can get the bulk caps they have which will be cheaper than radio shack. I spent less than $20 for all the caps I needed to rebuild 4 amps.

You can go up on voltage as long as you have the right micro farad size.

go to an electrician or a television place and ask where they buy their parts around town or look in your yellow pages.
