When approching overdrive speed 75-85 and above, the rpm will jump to 3k to 4k and back somewhat irratating . to me it seems as a sensor not a mechanical issue....i've done the self diagnostics test, tho after the steps i get no flicks from the power indicator lite except for the initial test bulb for 2 seconds... the 3 sensors test out ok (inhibitor switch, overdrive switch, and throttle position switch ) all i can think is while i was dropping the engine and trans the revolution sensor was still attached , the 'wire' ripped off the metal tab ... so i cleaned it and resoidered it.. anyone have an exploided view from alldata or an fsm of the revolution sensor... I could go out and look at it again but the weather is keeping me from it .. but i dont understand why the self test dosent work ... Even if the sensors r alright ... Also when u install the tps theres some play in the screws left to right with the sensor, would this play a role in my symptoms ... Everything is new on this >=] i dont need a tuneup and there are no Ecu codes
