will 17x7 tantrums fit on w/o modification? getting tomorrow so please answer quickly
pretty much all in title...driving tomorrow to get these as replacements cuz my honeycombs need to go. also, i have a bubble in my rear tire so i want to replace asap. will these fit on or do i have to remove the dust caps or whatever they're called? all i want to know is will i be able to put these on and drive home? i realize i might need alignment too but will i be safe to drive? thanx fellas!
as long as the bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3 and the offset is between say, 38 and 42.. yes, they'll fit without modification.
Konig Tantrums come in may applications, as do most other wheels. They are made in 4 lug patterns as well, in which case they will obviously not fit.. If you can't find out the offset and bolt pattern, then just test fit them on the front and the back to make sure they line up nice and snug and there is no rubbing against the struts.

well i know they should fit cuz they're on a 5th gen right now(unless he already took them off) and have been with no problem. i just heard before someone said the center caps or something might not fit unless you get rid of the dust caps on the rear ones, but still haven't seen in person what this looks like. well i'm leaving in an hour to go get them. so worst comes to worst, i'll just drive back on my crappy current wheels with the new ones in my trunk/backseat and put on later. just figured i'd ask. thanx for the help though.
Sorry I didn't reply to this earlier. Yeah, the rear gold dust caps have to be pounded off to fit Konig Tantrums. I've had 17 and 19 inch tantrums on two different 4th gen's and had to remove the rear dust caps on both cars.

How hard is it to do that? i got my rims today but aren't gonna put them on till friday. any tips or recomendations about doing it? will i be able to put them back on or do i have to buy new ones when i put stock ones back on for winter? i really have no idea what to expect...so if you or someone could find me a pic of them, i'd really appreciate it.
