Car care tips...what do you wash your car with not like what soap...

Well the weather is hopefully turing and i need to get her gleaming again. What do i do first clay bar, then wash car then wax ? Also what do you guys wash your car with a sponge, those things you stick your hand in ? Also i heard going in circle patterns is bad do you just wash like side to side ? Any helpful ideas are much appreciated thanks.

1) Wash with a detergent. Dawn dish soap seems to be the popular choice. This is to remove any old wax still on the car.

2) Clay bar

3) Polish

4) You should probably was the car again at this point but I don't always. Be sure to use carwash soap this time though. It's easier on the exposed paint.

5) Wax

6) Buff

Note: Some people wash between every step. When you find yourself with one of these people just keep nodding your head and keep commenting on how deep and wet their finish looks. They're safe if you keep them calm. They normally frequent a site called autopia.org. Bewarned though, some there that worship a being called Zaino can be particulary dangerous it provoked ....
