fuel system cleaning!!!!!!!!! and other Qs

i got my oil changed yesterday and i got them to do there fuel system cleaning. u know where they clean all the carbon deposits off of the internals and stuff. well i was amazed at how much this improved my car's acceleration. also i noticed that when at a right light or something i rpms are near the 950 range where they used to be down somewhere at 800 or so. how did getting my fuel system cleaned change what rpm what car idled at.??

1 more question. yall know the plate that is on tp of our engine it says V6 3000 or something like that . is there anything underthat because i had an idea to replace that with something else. u know how all the honda have the wire covers that say something like vtech or mugen or type r. well there is a performance shop where i live thats called next level and i might get them to make me a insigna plate with there logo to replace that plate with. i also thought of nismo or VG power or sumtin like that any suggestions are welcomed

Which type of fuel system cleaning did you get? And how much was it?

Behind the small plate (Nissan 3000) there is a small hole. I'm sure you can just removed it, for it is glued on. Mine came off without much force.

yeah i got the fuelsystem cleaning from midas. they said they put a chemical in the gas.one in the oilin the crankcase and hook a machine up to the throttlebody and spray so decarbonizer in there that cleans all that crap off.it helped alot.he said it should be done like every 10kmiles so i am gonna add that to my tune up list .

you can do the throttle body cleaning yourself for about $7 and 20 minutes check out the instructions on Craig's page. It helps the butterfly valve move easier and the air to flow easier to your engine.

You can buy fuel system cleaner (BG44K is great, but regular Techron will work). It cleans the deposits on your injectors to get them to spray better. BG44K will run you about $15 and the techron is a few bucks or just fill up with Chevron gas.

No idea what the additive they put into your oil, but I wouldn't let them do that unless I knew what it was.

The ECU controlls the car's idle so one of the sensor reading probably changed and that let the car idle lower.

Do the stuff yourself and save from what Midas charged you for about 20-30 minutes of work tops.
