Struts?

Would it be worth it to replace my factory struts with a better new ones? I have a 2003 GXE. Any opinions would be appreciated. Would I notice a difference in the ride, etc? Just curious.

you can definitely improve your handling with aftermarket struts. if you're going to install lowering springs, you'd definitely want them, as lowered springs will blow your stock struts quickly.

struts do wear out over time anyway. with a brand new car, unless you're looking to improve your current performance, you probably don't need to replace them just on principle. when they're in need, replace them with better ones.

on the other hand, if you're trying to tweak your suspension performance or want to do other suspension mods, you'll definitely need new struts.

hope that helps!

If your going to aftermarket spring, then change them... if not, then just stick with stock... its not worth it just to change the struts...

That's true.. Because the next time you do your springs you'll get charged labor again. Mine as well do both in 1 shot and pay 1 time labor fee
