This question came up with a person I work with...short end of the story is we both killed our RE-92's (may they RIP) and somehow an argument arose as to whether they were made in the US or Japan (or elsewhere). Since we don't even have a tire to look at for any manufacturing marks, does anyone know?

Also, are these things still the standard on '04's?

 

They're probably made in hell...

as for the 04's..the one's I saw when I was picking up my 03 had Continential Contitracts....(even worse than Potenzas)

 

I'm just ticked that I'll have to replace them before my damn lease is up! Treadwear rating of 160 - pathetic!

 

they re-cycle my So-3's and they recycle some cheap-o tires like uniroyal, Big-o, Comet, and other crappy tires. slap a little bit of So-3, and a whole bunch of crap. and out comes your Brdigestone Re-92!
