I've read all the brake threads, but still have questions
I've read lots of the brake threads but still don't understand some things:
My 00 SE has 30K when I bought it. I got the TSB done, and now at 39K I am getting judder again. I drive about 3K a month for work. I don't drive the **** out of it, but I do have fun with it. I have the habit of being a late braker from motorcycle road racing so I would say I am a little hard on the brakes.
The bottom line is that I want to cure the judder and upgrade my brakes to get better stopping power, but also be ideal for the type of driving I do
1) I am still unclear on whether or not there is an advantage of dimpled, slotted, cross drilled, or any combination of the above rotors. Regardless of the type, is Brembo a good medium priced, performance brand to go with
2) What kind of pads should I get?
3) Will or will not just replacing my pads solve the judder issue?

Are you sure this brake judder. I thought that the judder was caused by too wide of a rotor and the inability of the rotor to cool. Your dealer should have fixed this by reducing the thickness of the rotor and replacing the pads. I had an 00 GXE that had the judder problem fixed, after that my problem was rotor glazing. Glazing makes the car kind of jerk back/forth when stopping but the pedal and wheel don't shake. Chris
