First I will tell you a quick story of how dumb I am...

Burnt the bulb in one light, no 55W at the store, replaced both with 100W, cooked lenses. Water got in, fried the lights.

Question: where to get factory replacements for under the $199.95.

OR, who has aftermarket fogs on an SE? What can I use and how did you mount them in the factory opening?

Thanks!

I cracked the lens on the driver's side and called up Courtesy nissan and they sent out a replacement for about $75 including shipping. MAybe you may able to get the left and right side for less than $150...try to contact them. that is if you didn't burn out all the wiring...in any case they may help you out.

Aftermarket

Has anyone put aftermarket lights in place of the factory lamps? I would think I could replace them with something for cheaper than the $180 something I will have to spend on factory replacements.

You can get aftermarket lights, but none that look stock.

They also won't fit in the stock locations like stock.

Agreed

I am curious what people have used as aftermarket fogs, and how they have mounted them.

My suggestion >>

Check the http://www.susquehanna.com website and look for their Hella series of lamps. There two kinds of lamps that will fit in the stock location on the Maxima. The Micro DE and Micro FF foglamps. I prefer the Micro FF. Both of these might require some drilling into the bumper, but that's nothing.

Also check out http://www.hellausa.com for more details on these lamps.
