I bought a set of the Morimoto XB Type N fogs from TRS. Should be here Wednesday. Not sure when I'll get them installed though.

Thanks!

I got the lights today, and installed them. The beam pattern looks great. They are 5000k in color, and put out about 1200 lumens per side.

Nokya 2500k halogens on the left, Morimoto XB Type-N on the right.

The install was fairly straight forward. You just unbolt the wheel splash guards by the bumper and can reach into get the screws for the foglights. It uses torx bits.

Really?, I thought this required removing the bumper, so I was putting it off.
Not necessary you say? I worked around the splash guards while installing the Moromoto HID's. Thanks for the heads up, I'll do this install now, I was dragging my feet because I didn't want to remove the bumper, lol.

Yeah, I definitely did not remove the bumper. It's a little tight, but can be done. You might also consider jacking up the car to make it a little easier.

Thanks,

one thing i also noticed maximase86 is how did you adjust your headlights so perfect? I only know how to adjust up and down and i have that projector cutoff on the drivers side so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic.

Ricky:
I had to get to the adjuster which was a total pain in the ***. It's not perfect, and the car is rather close to the wall when I took the beam pattern shot.

14GmMax:
Yup, plug and play. The pins for the harness are not installed into the plug, so you have to double check you get the polarity right and insert into the plug until it locks in place.

trsandrew:
These lights are awesome. I've been buying stuff from you guys for years, and will continue to do so.

Thanks,

S
