How many states still do inspections?
How many states still do inspections?
Since I joined Maxima.org I have been interested about all the concern with car inspections. Is this only in a few states, or do most states require inspections? I've only lived in Iowa and Indiana, and neither state requires inspections. I remember putting headers and straight pipes on by friends Pontiac in high school, and nobody mentioned anything... Until he got busted racing... You could hear him a mile away!!!
Just curious...

You have to get it inspected every year in West Virginia. And now they're cracking down on tint. At most places, if you buy a car that already has a little factory tint on the windows, and you try to put 35% (legal) on it, it won't pass...
