Dyno questions?

I had my car dynoed before the Y and B pipes on my 2k2 auto. I want to get the after dyno numbers. The place I originally dynoed at is very far away and thus a problem sneaking out of work. They have a DynoJet model 428C. AutoThority which is very close to me has this dyno: http://www.autothority.com/dyno.htm

Should I take the car back to the original place or to AutoThority. I want the most accurate numbers obviously. Thanks in advance.

I don't know much about different dyno's but I would be inclined to get it done at the same shop. Is AutoThority cheaper? You could always get it done there and when you get the time go to the original shop.

Are they saying the unit is better or are you getting this from a good source? If you have credible info that lets you know it's better do it. Time is short these days and if you can get it done on your way home go for it.

They say it's better of course and the shop is definately top notch. They consistantly build cars that get published in major mags like Car and Driver and the likes for their Porsche work.

You've got to use the same machine. It's a tool to measure gains and losses and you'll never get an accurate comparison using a different machine when you're talking about such low power adding modifications.

I went back to the same place as the first time. The temp was about 25-27 degrees higher this time. I pulled about 5 more hp and 6 more tq. Do you post the SAE numbers or the uncorrected numbers from the DynoJet?
