i was wondering if my stock G35 with the 5speed auto would beat a 2003 maxima stock with a 6 speed?

just wondering...

 

off the line it would... Other then that the 6 speed driver would take you

 

Do you think it would walk on me top end?



my third gear pulls alot and i think i would gain a lil on it...but i have never driven a 2003 6 speed

 

It would be a very close race.

 

i dont think the maxima would gain any if it lost the jump...


so who ever won the jump probably would win or a miss shift

 

Why IS that?? I noticed that too - if you don't really get on it in 1st, you don't seem to have the power in 2nd.. wtf??

Im just saying since we have about the same hp and set up except the im rear wheel drive, I dont think he would be able to walk all over me.

Sorry if that sounded like im a maxima hater! Im not, i own one.

Im thinking who ever wins. It would be less than a car or two!

And i really want to race one. On the track of course!

 

I think the 6 speed, with a good driver would win. Actually members on this board have beaten G35 sedans pretty easily I think.

 

The fastest 6-speed stock Max i've seen on this forum is a 14.2-14.3. Fastest G35 auto sedan would be 14.5. If the Max has a good driver. it should win. One missed shift and the max is toast. IT SHOULD BE VERY CLOSE!
