i was just snooping at a 2000 Maxima SE in the Metro Parking lot, it has cloth seats and appears to have the two buttons for heated seats in the center console(above the ebrake).

is this true...could you get the heated seats without the leather???

i learn somthing new everyday


one more thing, does anyone know if the 2k2/3 max's that dont have the heated steering wheel option, stil have the wheel prewired for it..or does Nissan actually use a different steering wheel???

Yup, I have a very early 2k GXE that has heated cloth seats. My friend was surprised because he was looking for that configuration in a 2k1 and couldn't find it.

 

its part of the Meridian package....very rare on cloth but it WAS an option!
