boost tuned S-AFC minus the boost...gonna cause problems?

I just sent my blower to vortech as my other thread comments, but as of now, i'm driving the car and bypassing the blower with a smaller belt..........seems to drive fine.........SOME of the time, it really seems to be having a lot of fuel problems......when cruising in 5th gear, it seems to surge and then when i'm accelerating, it progressively gets bogged down and seems like its not getting fuel. :dunno: I am running an S-AFC, thinking that might be causing some problems?? any comments

btw, I did disconnect the power to the external fuel pump.......figured i didn't need to dump fuel for boost, when I didn't have any :dunno:

comments?

Well it can be a problem if your SAFC was aggressively set in a certain point to really lean out or really rich a certain point.

Id recommend writing down the percentages on each of your 8 points, and then setting it to Zero for now. This will ensure you aint running too lean if that is what you had to do with the SAFC when you go WOT on NA at the moment.

Once you get the blower back, set the SAFC back to those 8points you wrote down earlier.
