couple of questions

i know that a lot of people are starting to turbo charge their cars, but which one get more power supercharger or turbo. also how exactly does a turbo work i just know some basics???

This is the oldest debate in the world...And it all comes down to which turbo or supercharger you compare, and at which point you measure the hp.

Turbos and supercharger both have impellers inside that take the air from the air intake and spin it faster "boost" and send it to the throttle body.

To do this you have to spin the impeller much faster than the engine...Turbos do this with exhaust gas, the exhaust gas from the manifold goes in one side and forces the impeller to move. This is regulated through a wastegate.

Superchargers do it with a belt and pulley.

This is the bare simplicity of it.

Do a search on how boost works on somthing like metacrawler and you will find a lot. I wrote the short simple version cuz i dont' know how much you want.
