NEWB here to the max forum

Hey guys...im goin to pick up my 02 black SE tonight..and cant wait..comming from a 1991 accord to a 02 max is a bit of a difference..haha..well my name is joe, just wanted to introduce myself...and i have 1 question..is it worth it to buy the extra warantee 100,000 mile bumper to bumper?its got 18,000 miles...still has factory warantee and 100,000 mile engine and trans. thanks..later

get an extended from a 3rd party, like AAA.....it'll be cheaper

You made a good decision. I think a warranty is worth it if you plan on keeping it.

Thats true, but then dont mod the car. Dealers and repair people dont like mods! And not modding the 3.5 is a shame!

Thanks guys...i WAS supposed to pick the car up tonight but..whats good about today being good friday...nothing for me cuz the banks closed early and i couldnt get my damn certified check to go pick up the car!! now i gotta wait till tommorow..im goin crazy.

Hey Joe, congrats on the purchase, and welcome to the org. I don't know if you're into modding or not, but you'll most likely catch the bug real quick.

Anyhow, welcome to the community, and look forward to seeing your posts.

About the warranty...I'd skip on it. Usually you have trouble getting these warranty companies to cover any expenses, as they'll try to find any reason to not do the work. Being it's a Nissan, you should be all set with its reliability. Plus, you're still under factory warranty for a bit, so that should cover you for now.

Thanks man...well i picked up the car today!!!..just got it a couple hrs ago..and all i gotta say is wow...i love this car..im def into modding first thing is probably gonna be a drop..i dont want much of a drop and im prob gonna stay w/stock shocks so im prob gonna get the prokits.....cant wait!!!...later guys

Joe, I see you are from NY. Watch your HID's! Members from the NY/NJ area have had terrible luck with HID theft.
