Suggestions:

1. Don't do it. Black is for Knight Rider, gunmetal just looks dirty, all the time.

2. As iterated in item 1., don't do it.

Go with a polish or silver wheel on a black Max. Stay away from chrome, it's a PITA. My stock wheels are back and my chrome wheels are off.

Gotta agree. Chrome can look nice, but it is a very fine line between classy and ghetto, never mind upkeep.

I don't have a black max, I do have a Majestic Blue Max, very close to black. Post your email and i'll send you some pics of gunmetal 5 spokes on my car. Oh, and the wheels on the car are for sale, personally the gunmetal looks sweet on a dark car and does not look dirty. Chris

I use my max for outside sales at times so I want to have an OEM look, so too make it a bit more pleasing to me I replaced them with SE for the 02 and sold off my GLE wheels. Chris

Check out the 4th page on my cardomain site. New black opalescent rims since I bent the old rims on my black 2k GLE. They have a different color depending on the light. I personally thought I would NEVER put dark rims on my car, but I really like these, and have had many compliments on them.

I have pics at home, but have not posted them yet. I'll post them up later today when I get home from work.

Look for the user "Newman"

He and I have the same wheels, Volk Racing LE37K, except he has a black car. The rim is gunmetal with a polished lip.
